Can't you turn off the IM feature on that site? I've always turned off IM on the services I've used. If they're interested they'll send an e-mail, and then I'll have some time to look at their profile and decide if I'm interested.
Anyway, if I was a woman, and someone whose username was "dcwhiteboy" tried to start an IM chat with me, I wouldn't even respond.
And man, he just stands stupid--as in mentally deficient. You've really gotta guard the gene pool against those ones.
