So, I recently started adding my co-workers from the AF DI as friends on Facebook. Then I noticed one of them was friends with... gasp... an associate!!!!!!! DUN DUN DUN.
I quickly altered my privacy settings so that nobody could find me on search. Previously, this meant that my profile was invisible to everyone except current friends.
However. This morning I had a friend request from a lady I did not know. She is friends with three of my AF DI coworkers. She should NOT have been able to see my profile!
I double checked my privacy settings. They were as I had left them. I assumed she had found me from that stupid friend suggestions thing Facebook does. However, according to Facebook, if she can't find me on search, I shouldn't show up as a suggestion for her. LIARS.
So then I tried to change who could add me as a friend... you used to be able to control that... Not anymore. Now you can either select "everyone" or "friends of friends." Well excuse me Facebook, but since everyone and their mom uses you, friends of friends is pretty much EVERYONE.
So I deactivated my account. Stupid facebook. It totally lies about the privacy settings.

The only reason I open Facebook is to see the photos you kids put there. Now hopefully you'll put them on your blog instead.
