Life has been busy. It's amazing how much a twenty-five commute can make me feel so much more tired when I'm done with my work day. Bleh.
I haven't been to the gym for about three months. I used to like it, now I hate it. But I'm going tonight, and I'm going to trade off on the elliptical and the treadmill every five minutes. So I don't get borrrrred.
Job coaching is pretty easy once you get used to it. I was already used to it, so it's not hard. Today one of my workers told me she was twenty minutes late because she had to wait for someone to get out of the handicap stall (she's not handicapped and she actually ended up being like thirty minutes late once she got to her register). "Were they in there for twenty minutes?" No, it was the missionaries at LDS Employment, they wouldn't let her go to work. I just stared at her and didn't say anything. "But I think next time I'll just get up and walk away." "Yeah, you should do that next time."
Now she is keeping track of what time she gets to her register every day, and if she is late she will write an explanation of why it happened.
I don't really know what that is going to accomplish, because I know if I went through each of her excuses with her she would just keep finding new ones. Maybe it will show her how ridiculous it is. I don't know. It seemed like a good idea. Oh well. It will definitely make her concretely accountable.
Yesterday I went house shopping with my brother and "my" realtor. I found one that I just loved! But I'm pretty sure the mortgage payment would be around $1200/month. So... yeah. No house for me. I could probably save up a good down payment in a year. 2011 baby! That's gonna be my year.

It's so hard to get back in the grove with the gym especially since it's not that fun.
Did you get anymore pictures of the cake you made?
Instead of going to the gym, you could take Ruby to Target. Chasing her around is a pretty good workout. :)
I never got to see which house you liked best. Which one was it?
