new place

So, the house I was going to move into in the fall... well, the roommate who likes to steal my food and toiletries and kill fish was going to come, too. So, I sold that contract and found a new place to live!

It's in South Provo. And guess what. I have TWO bedrooms! So one I will use as an office and the other will be my bedroom. Both of them have closets. And I have my own bathroom. Oh my. And the tiny fenced back"yard" opens right into Bicentennial Park... the biggest park in Provo! It's beautiful! My back yard is huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm kind of excited for this extra bedroom because I can keep my computer desk in there... and all my work stuff... my bookcase and reading chair... AND I can get a small table to decorate cakes on. That way I don't have to keep the kitchen messy... I'll just put a tarp over the carpet or something.

Oh yeah, there's a walk in pantry in the kitchen. Yesssssssssss.

$450+util. though. No more eating out for me!

I met one of the roommates yesterday when I went to look at the place. She seems normal, and nice. She is a grad student for clinical neuropsychology. Yeah. So, luckily, if I receive some horrible traumatic brain injury while I'm living there I will be covered.

$450 sounds like a pretty great deal.

I hope you win your game of Roommate Roulette this time.

I think your blog is great! I finally had enough with the roommate business and bought a house of my own. I live in Payson. Now if I like someone enough I ask them to be my roommate. Once they move out I tell everyone that i like living alone, until someone good comes along and then I give them the invite.
It works perfectly. I've had my fair share of crazies!
Good Luck!
