Just so everyone knows

Yes, I probably will try fish sticks this week.

Also, lots of people have new fish die when they first bring them home. That's why aquarium fanatics often have a "quarantine" tank that they put new fish into for the first couple of weeks... to see if they DIE or not! They don't want new sick fish infecting their healthy ones.

My betta blew a bubble nest last night... first night without that mean Oto. The betta is so happy he's dead! Me too.

I'm not sure how long the remaining tetras are going to last as some of them aren't very good about finding food when I drop it in.

The snails, of course, even though they are the most boring part of my 10 gallon, will probably last forever... subsiding on clean water and healthy bacterial mucus since they obviously are not cleaning any algae.

And the goldfish seem fine. I want to get them a friend, but I told myself NO MORE FISH.

Except I might get some more neon tetras if enough of these die. They need to stay in a school!

Have you a photo of the beta and its bubble nest?
