I am excited.
Because. All DI stores are pretty much open on the lesser of the Federal holidays (MLK, Presidents, Labor, etc). That means the staff (me) take a vacation day within 30 days of the actual holiday, either before or after.
So.
In about a month I will be taking a bunch of vacation days to go to Maui.
Then I will take another week off around the 4th of July (with the help of Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day).
And remember how in 2010 I didn't take any time off for Christmas? Yeah. Totally going to save my accruing vacation hours and use them all then.
It's good to have time to look forward to.
Also, I've been baking a cake from scratch every week for the last month. It is going well. Yum.
