One of my employees at work suffers from incontinence. I think she makes a bigger deal out of it than it actually is. She keeps these oils in her work apron to disguise the smell just in case she has an accident. She reeks of... stuff! I don't know. It is so strong though, yuck. And the other day some customer came through her line that also reeked of essential oils. They exchanged numbers and talked about how great they were. Icky icky icky.
Then today my manager made me try one of her oils-- Melaleuca. I told her I wasn't sure because I was allergic to most things. "Oh no sweetie, it's all natural!"
Yeah, totally burned my skin off.
I mean, just because something is natural or organic doesn't mean it's good for you. Would you encourage someone with a peanut allergy to try organic peanut oil? And bird feces. Those are natural. Doesn't mean you should eat them.
I'm just saying.
One of my roommates used to use peppermint oil lotion and the smell was so strong in our room I would gag and get headaches. Grosssssssssssssssssss!
