Tomorrow I am going to take the bus to work for fun

Sometimes it's nice not to drive.

So usually I try not to talk about work stuff on my blog. You know, because it would be embarrassing if somebody read something about themselves.

But as far as victimizing oneself, this guy takes the cake.
He left all of the "Reason for Leaving" lines blank on his work history form. So I went through all of his jobs, one by one, and asked him why he left.
(Note to job applicants: Everything on the application is on there for a reason. We won't not notice when you don't fill it in and we won't forget to ask. Also, if you have a criminal conviction, just write the details down where the application says to. Writing down "ask" or "details upon request" just makes it sound worse and makes you look unrepentant.)
He had some lame woe-is-me answer for why he got fired from all of his jobs.
"Miscommunication about my attendance."
"They only gave me a week for my probation period instead of three months."
"(insert Charlie Brown teacher voice here)."
Then we got to Burger King.
Shift manager for over a year.
And would you believe, his crew was so disrespectful! His management was so disrespectful! They mistreated him badly! In his whole time there, they never even taught him how to make a Whopper!

Really? Over a year and you never bothered to figure out how to make a stupid hamburger? Puh-leez.

oh boy....
this is why some people just can't cope with life! Hopefully they'll learn some skills at DI and working with their new abilities.

Have fun on that bus!
