This morning I paid a trip to the lovely Provo Farmer's Market. It probably had four booths in total that were selling produce (two cherries and two vegetables) with twenty others selling crafts, lunches, smoothies, etc.
I bought a belgian waffle (with chocolate, whipped cream, and strawberries) for breakfast. I bought a smoothie for a mid-morning snack shortly thereafter. I bought a darling pair of earrings for three dollars. I bought small yellow tomatos, a pound of sweet red cherries and a few handfuls of tart pie cherries. You know what that means!
CHERRY PIE.
I've always just bought a can of cherry pie filling, so this will be fun. Um... does anybody know what proportions I need? Because I sure don't. I know I need sugar and cornstarch. Maybe I'll just mix it until it looks good. Or use the same proportions I use for strawberry pie.
Or maybe I'll just pit them and put them on raw.
