I have a habit

of eating out a lot. I'm too slow to make myself a lunch in the morning, so I go out. Or I'm too lazy to cook for myself at night, so I go out.

It adds up.

So this month my goal is to not eat at a restaurant unless I'm with somebody else. Mostly I'm making that exception because I already did it once this month and I promised someone else I would take him out for dinner. So.

We will see how it goes.

Also, I would like to not buy anything except groceries and maybe a pair of pantyhose. But I'm not getting my hopes up.

TMI?

It helps to make soup or another dish that you can use for one or two more meals. I love soup, especially now that cooler weather is beginning.
And make your lunch the night before work. :)

Eating out adds up so quickly, and the food isn't nearly as good as that one makes oneself.

Yes. Also, why are you taking "him" out when "him" should be taking you out?

Because he brought me a dinner I had been craving a while ago. For free. We are friends, and friends treat each other.

I just force my mom to make me food and separate it into meal-size portions. Try that!
