...that happened yesterday!
This was my first Christmas in Utah. Can you believe it???
John and Jenny hosted me, along with Mike and later Larry, Joyce, and Mindy.
I don't know if you guys know this, but Jenny is a really good cook. That's an understatement but I don't know how else to say it.
Whenever she tries something new for dinner, she's like "Oh, I hope it's not gross" and then it's super good. Every time.
So naturally, Christmas dinner was super awesome!!!!
Max (or somebody) asked me what my favorite part was and I honestly don't know. Ham... jello... potato casserole... m'mmmmmmmm. So good.
Jenny has a display on her mantel of each year she and John have been together in their Christmas family photos. It's cute to see how their family has grown. The family photo I have of them is cute too... Max is younger than Milo!!! And they thought they were busy then. :)
This year I got a new picture of all the kids! It's been fun to see all of their little personalities develop as they grow older. They are all such sweet and generous kids.
I guess one of the benefits of not being at home for the holidays is that presents get shipped to you over the span of a few weeks. Christmas will probably last until February 1st this year for me. Good thing I really like unwrapping surprises!
Thanks John & Jenny! I'll see you in a few hours. :-)
