Pretty sure in the last few days I've gained it all back.
So.
I finished applying to grad school. Now we are just waiting on the letters of recommendation. One from a current co-worker, one from a previous manager, and one from a professor from waaaaaaaaay back when.
I also finished my FAFSA. First time ever filling one of those things out. I'm not sure how long it will take to hear back about it.
Also still waiting to get approval for educational reimbursement from my employer.
If I don't get into grad school I think I will move to Colorado and live with my best friend. Kristie. She's so great.
On Friday I went to a rodeo with an urban cowboy. It was nice. I decided the day before that he would be my last first date for at least two months. How am I supposed to watch five hours of Pride and Prejudice if I'm dating all the time?
There is a new roommate moving in. She lived with one of my friends/former roommates and I hear she is the business. The living situation has improved dramatically since the messy roommate moved out a few weeks ago. Her brother finally came and got the rest of her stuff that had been sitting in the living room since she left. In about two months the other roommate should move out also. She is pretty spoiled and an airhead so it will be nice to see who replaces her.
Yeah, so I'm not actually going to get my own apartment. It's too expensive and as long as the roommates are not like tornadoes blowing through the house it's really not a big deal.
I'm going to go to a cycling class at the gym tomorrow. Gotta get rid of that five pounds, you know.
And that is my life. I have a really good life.
